Natural Medicine Insights is an independent education resource that explains the science and regulatory context of plant-based medicine, cannabinoids and peptides in plain English. Our goal is simple: clear, balanced, accurate background — without hype, and without the marketing.

Our editorial principles

• Education, not advice. Everything here is general information. It is not medical advice and is no substitute for a consultation with a qualified health practitioner.
• No therapeutic claims. We describe mechanisms, history and regulation. We do not claim that any substance treats, cures or prevents any condition.
• No products, no promotion. We don’t sell anything, recommend brands, or help anyone obtain any substance. Many of the substances we discuss are prescription-only or controlled in Australia.
• Cited and current. We reference authoritative sources — including the TGA, the Poisons Standard and peer-reviewed literature — and update pages as guidance changes.

A note on Australian law

Much of what we cover is regulated under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989. Advertising prescription-only and unapproved medicines to the public is prohibited in Australia, and we are careful to stay firmly on the side of balanced, non-promotional education. Where access is discussed, it is described factually — through the lawful pathways involving a registered practitioner.
